LABORATORY OF SENSORY PROCESSING - LSENS
The Laboratory of Sensory Processing investigates synaptic mechanisms of sensory perception and associative learning.
Experiments in mice investigate cortical processing of sensory input focusing on the signalling pathway from the mystacial whiskers to the somatosensory barrel cortex.
The goal is to understand the coding and plasticity of perceptions at the level of individual neurons and their synaptic interactions within a well-defined signalling pathway.
